Terms of Use
These terms apply to Check My Well property checks, digital buyer reports, Record Rescue, Realtor Pro and contractor matching.

1. Informational service only
Check My Well summarizes public well records and related general information for convenience and due diligence. The service is not a well inspection, engineering opinion, hydrogeological assessment, legal opinion, title search, laboratory water test, drilling quote or guarantee.
2. Public-record limitations
Public records may contain approximate locations, missing or incorrect fields, legacy terminology, duplicate records and records for wells that are no longer active. A nearby mapped record does not prove that a well belongs to the searched property. Verify material facts against original records and qualified professionals.
3. No groundwater or performance guarantee
Nearby records do not guarantee groundwater availability, exact drilling depth, yield, water quality, construction, condition, legal compliance or future drilling results at a specific property.
4. Buyer reports and Record Rescue
A paid buyer report is a digital summary generated from the property check and available public-record context at the time of purchase. Payment confirmation is required before download.
Record Rescue is a one-time manual public-record research service for a submitted property. Check My Well reviews available public registries and the record clues supplied by the customer and emails a findings summary with relevant source links and unresolved items identified. Record Rescue does not guarantee that a definitive property well can be identified and does not verify well ownership, present condition, water quality, legal status, groundwater availability or future performance.
If a duplicate charge, technical fulfillment failure or other billing problem occurs, contact Check My Well through the support page with the order reference. Refunds and remedies are handled in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
5. Realtor Pro
Realtor Pro is a recurring monthly professional subscription. The price and included usage shown at checkout govern the subscription. The launch founding offer is $49 CAD per month and includes unlimited property checks, saved-property history and up to 25 distinct branded client reports per calendar month. Re-downloading the same saved property's report in the same month does not consume another report allowance.
Agents who subscribe at the founding rate keep that subscription price while the same subscription remains continuously active. If a subscription ends and is later restarted, the price then offered may apply. Check My Well may change future standard pricing or plan features for new subscriptions.
Realtor Pro reports may include the agent's name, brokerage, contact details, logo, client name and saved transaction notes. The subscribing professional is responsible for having authority to enter client or transaction information and for using the resulting reports appropriately.
6. Billing and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. Check My Well does not store full card numbers. Realtor Pro subscribers can use the Stripe billing portal to update payment details, review invoices and cancel. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the billing period leaves access active through that paid period. Failed or unpaid renewals may pause Pro-only report generation until payment is resolved. Cancellation does not erase previously saved property history unless deletion is separately requested or required.
7. Contractor matching
Check My Well may connect homeowners with independent contractors. Check My Well does not employ, direct, warrant or guarantee contractors or their work. Users are responsible for verifying licensing or registration where applicable, insurance, references, scope, price, permits and suitability before hiring. Contractor partners may pay Check My Well for access to qualified requests.
8. Professional accounts
Private portal links and tokens are access credentials. Keep them private and use email sign-in to obtain a fresh link when needed. Check My Well may suspend access for abuse, fraud, excessive automated use, credential sharing intended to avoid plan limits, or material violation of these terms.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload systems in a manner that disrupts service, submit false lead information, impersonate another person or business, or use private customer or contractor information for unrelated solicitation.
10. Third-party services
Maps, geocoding, public datasets, payment processing, email delivery and other functions may rely on third-party services. Availability and accuracy can be affected by those providers and are not guaranteed.
11. Changes and availability
Coverage, data sources and non-contracted features may change as public sources change. Obligations for completed paid transactions and active subscriptions remain subject to these terms and applicable law.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Check My Well is provided on an as-available basis and should not be the sole basis for a property, drilling, water-quality or contractor decision. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply in another jurisdiction.
